I'm Gess, mother to Zane (3 years old) and Zayla (1 year old). I’m a Muslim Melbourne-based Doula, I support, nourish women on their inner-work journey through motherhood.

My journey into doula work began with the birth of my first child, Zane, a transformative experience that sparked a deep calling within me. Despite my positive experience, I noticed the challenges many women face during pregnancy, labor, and postpartum.

Motivated to make a difference, I immersed myself in pregnancy, childbirth, and maternal care, aiming to understand and address these challenges. This led me to embrace the role of a doula—a companion for women and their families throughout their motherhood journey.

My mission is clear: to provide a nurturing environment where women feel empowered, supported, and deeply connected to their strength and wisdom. Through personalised care, education, and unwavering support, I aim to help mothers tap into their innate abilities and embrace the transformative power of childbirth and motherhood.

In addition to my professional background, my interests in specialty coffee, sourdough baking, and gardening infuse my doula practice with creativity, mindfulness, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life's simplest pleasures. I believe that nurturing the body, mind, and soul is essential for holistic well-being, and I'm committed to guiding women on this journey of self-discovery and empowerment.

Whether you're expecting a new arrival, navigating the joys and challenges of early motherhood, or simply seeking support and guidance along your journey, I'm here to walk beside you every step of the way. Together, let's embrace the magic of motherhood, cultivate strength and resilience, and nurture future generations.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. I look forward to supporting you, celebrating with you, and witnessing the incredible transformation that awaits.

With warmth and gratitude,

Gess Adana
